We have found in the past that even in a poor vintage Henschke produces very good wines, so when their talent is combined with great vintages, such as any of the past 3 years in the Adelaide Hills and Eden Valley, the results are excellent. The Eleanor's Cottage seems almost white gold in colour with an enticing nose of tropical fruit flavours that leaps from the glass combining with some grassy and herbaceous notes. Very well balanced with refreshing acidity with flavours that linger quite a while. Great for summer drinking, but could last for another few years.
