The Autumn Riesling shows classic varietal characters on the nose with fresh citrus, lime and some floral, blossom-like notes. The Autumn Riesling is, like its stablemate, a classy offering from the Koonunga range. Vibrant citrus flavours of lemon, lime are combined with crisp slightly minerally acidity. Although it could last a number of years in the cellar, this wine is presenting very well at the moment and can definitely be enjoyed now. 92 Points YWG Drink to 2016+   Critics say:   It’s super floral in its fragrance – and indeed, it has a couple of percent of Traminer in it – as was a customary practice in the 1970s. Great idea. It’s mostly, but not entirely, made with Eden Valley grapes. Lovely fresh limey flavour. Good acid but not too challenging. Beautiful drink. Cellar door and on-premise only. Gorgeous elegance. Outstanding value. Limes and fresh flowers, a bit of textural softness and very good length.
