When I call Your Wine Guy, am I just simply going to speak with a call cente operator who doesn't really know anything about wine?
A. One of the great benefits of Your Wine Guy is that when you dial either of the numbers listed (1300 294 020 or 02 9029 3777) you are directed straight to the Chief Wine Specialist's phone. This ensures you receive only the best advice from our most qualified and experienced professional. If unavailable, you can leave a message with the answering service and the Chief Wine Specialist will return your call promptly.

Q. How much is the freight to my place and how long will it take?
A. Freight and Insurance is a per 12 bottle case rate based on the state/territory which the delivery will be sent to. Please note that when ordering two 6 bottle cases you will only be charged freight
and shipping for a single 12 bottle case.

Metro deliveries are usually within a week, more remote regional areas can take up to 2 weeks.

Q. What about if I won't be home?
A. We ask that you leave additional instructions if no one is home, such as "leave at back door" or "OK to leave on front porch". Deliveries are made via courier, if there is no one home and no instruction, the courier will leave a card to ask you contact them to arrange delivery. All deliveries are made during business hours so places of work are often favoured destinations. Deliveries unclaimed within 7 days will be returned to us and accounts will be credited less freight fees.

Q. Does Your Wine Guy ship Internationally?
A. By special request only. Your Wine Guy can arrange international deliveries to certain destinations with all costs, duties, tariffs and taxes to be paid by the customer. Please contact +61 2 9029 3777 or

Q. Is it safe and secure to order from your site?
A. Yes. Your Wine Guy uses the latest encryption technology and ANZ's secure payment gateway eGate™ to ensure safe transactions. Simply add your items to the shopping cart and proceed through the checkout. Click on the '
home page' link and off you go!

Q. What payment methods do you offer?
A. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

Q. Do you provide a tax invoice?
A. Yes. A tax invoice can be provided with orders upon request, or emailed. Additional copies of invoices can be provided upon request.

Q. What about your privacy policy?
A. Your Wine Guy has set up a page for privacy issues and information. Feel free to follow this
link. An important statement and law that Your Wine Guy abides by is that it is an offence to sell or supply to, or obtain liquor on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years.

Q. Is your site-based ordering system secure?
A. Absolutely. We have added an extra layer of security to ensure that your details are secure. You may notice that when you login, you are directed to our Hosting providers (Ashop Commerce) secure section (i.e.
https://secure.ashop.com.au/...) which provides both you and us with extra online protection.  All payments are processed via ANZ's secure payment processing gateway eGate™.
