Sandalford's Estate Range Chardonnay has always shown great complexity. Beautiful grapefruit, white peach and citrus fruit with some toasty vanillin oak on the nose. The palate is a bit more crisp than in previous vintages. Some malty oak flavours combine well with the intense fruit flavours and strong acidity.

Colour: Mid-straw with a lemon tint.
Nose: A real elegantly styled wine on the nose with classic white stone fruit characters and nuances of subtle vanillin oak.
Palate: I’d almost call this medium to full-bodied as opposed to a straight full bodied wine. Like the nose the stone fruit characters come to the fore with oak in support. The highlight however is the overall structure and balance of this wine with the acid contributing piquancy to the wine, perfectly in harmony with the fruit-sweetness and mineral textures elements of the palate.
