Your Wine Guy says:
Sandalford’s Classic Dry White is carefully crafted to ensure a crisp citrus character, with hints of herbs, some passionfruit and guava displayed both on the nose and on the palate finishing with refreshing acidity.

Critics say:
"Very fresh and herbal – “Makes me wish for summer,” commented one judge. Musky lift to the nose and tight, sharp, mouthwatering acidity in the mouth."
4 Stars Winestate - Simon Parker, Stuart Bourne & Phil Lehmann
"Big, pungent aromas of tropical fruits. Intense and powerful aromas with a lingering palate. Very crisp acid with zippy gooseberry aromas. All natural acidity. This is bone dry. Deliciously appealing wine."

The winemaker says:
Colour: Pale lime as befits a fresh, new vintage of white wine.
Nose: Lovely, elegant, perfumed bouquet of fresh gooseberry.
Palate: Certainly a light bodied wine which is just so easy to drink. There is a real minerality to the palate and those flavours seen on the nose translate beautifully to the palate. As reflected in the vintage the acidity is perfectly judged and the wine finished with a zesty crispness and harmonious balance. – Paul Boulden, Winemaker Sandalford Wines
