The winemaker says:
Colour: Dark ruby red colour with some magenta hues.
Nose: The classic Margaret River Shiraz with perfumed floral notes in addition to the aromatic spices of anise, clove and bergamot.
Palate: This is a medium bodied Shiraz, certainly a fruit driven wine which possesses added complexity and character from barrel fermentation and maturation. Sweet blackberry fruit and spices all come together to make a fine red wine with opulence and balance. The harmony extends to the long finish. – Paul Boulden, Winemaker Sandalford Wines
