Your Wine Guy says:
Another top offering from the famed Henschke stable. The 50 year old vines have provided the Tappa Pass with an intense dark crimson colour in the glass. The seductive nose has volumes of blue and blackberry, dark plum fruits, white pepper and chocolate. The palate does not disappoint, the flavours have good intensity with great balance and silky tannins. Bottled with the new and innovative Vino-Lok glass closure which Henschke has chosen to protect the wine’s purity. A stunning drink now and can cellar for at least 10 or more years.

Colour: Mulberry-black in colour.
Nose: Lifted sweet, spicy aromas of anise, blackberry, tar and cedar, with attractive smoky dark chocolate accents.
Palate: A complex, concentrated palate of sweet, ripe, lush black berry fruits and bitter chocolate with a long, elegant velvety finish. Excellent vintage, drink now to 2022. – Henschke Wines
