Your Wine Guy says:
Great value Sauvignon Blanc. Full of citrus and passionfruit flavours as well as a very nice texture that coats the palate. The flavours linger for longer than expected, very nice.

The winemaker says:
“From the day it was picked to the day it was in bottle and beyond, the 2011 Sauvignon Blanc screamed zingy lime and tropical passionfruit. The very appealing passionfruit aroma has become typical of The Yearling Sauvignon Blanc along with flavours of guava and pink grapefruit. This complex and balanced wine sees fresh, crisp flavours of fennel, musk, sweet spice, and freshly cut Asian herbs. It has a generous mouth feel that is cut through by a limey acid and continues to linger on the palate.” Sandrine Gimon – Rymill Winemaker
Winery Information:
In 1890 John Riddoch founded Coonawarra, the history of which is inextricably entwined with the Riddoch and Rymill families.
His grandson, John Riddoch Rymill, was a distinguished polar explorer, whose son Peter and his wife Judy, both farmers and keen equestrians, established the Rymill Coonawarra Winery in 1990.
They have been growing grapes in the region since 1970.
“Rymill Coonawarra is 100% Coonawarra, 100% estate grown and 100% family owned. We are proud of the Coonawarra community and the fact that we live and work in 'Australia's Red Wine Centre' with its unique terra rossa soil. We believe that there are great benefits in growing our own fruit, the best being that it delivers wonderfully distinctive varietal fruit flavours in the glass. And we take pride in our family legacy, that we have been a part of the wine business in the district since 1890. All three elements are important to our business and define everything we do.” – Rymill wines
